Explore memoir through collage, transforming personal memories into a meaningful, finished object. In a tranquil space offering Ocean views, you will feel inspired to create!
In this hands-on workshop, you will design one item—a candle, small vase, or plate—using images, words, photographs, and ephemera that matter to you. Rather than writing from a blank page, we work with fragments, layering memory and meaning in a tactile, non-linear way.
This beginner-friendly workshop is ideal for those drawn to memoir, memory, and creative storytelling—no writing or art experience required.
Includes:
All materials and supplies
BONUS - students will create a soul stone commemorating a present pet or a pet from their childhood.
One completed object and one soul stone (waterproof and ready for the garden). Your finished project is completely ready for everyday use.
Catered lunch and refreshments throughout the day
Small group setting for individual guidance
Participants are encouraged to bring copies of personal photos, letters, or words to incorporate into their project.
